Where can I live on my budget?

Move the slider to what you can pay. The map shows what share of flats in each district ask that much or less, and the list takes you straight to them.

How we calculate it

For each city district we take the asking rents of flats in live listings, counting each flat once even if several agencies advertise it. The share is the number of flats at or under your amount divided by all flats in the district for the size you picked. Districts with fewer than 5 listings stay hatched. These are asking rents, not agreed ones.

Questions people ask

How much rent can I afford in Zagreb?

A common rule of thumb is that rent shouldn't be more than about 30% of household net income. Enter your income in the helper above the map, pick a share and use it as your budget.

Where is renting cheapest in Zagreb?

Move the slider to a lower amount: the districts with the biggest share of flats in that budget come first in the list. The numbers change every day as new listings arrive.

Why is a district hatched?

For the flat size you picked it has fewer than 5 listings right now, and with so few a share wouldn't be fair.
