It begins by Ilica, at Mandaličina ulica and Kuniščak, and from there the long street of Šestinski dol runs north through the hilly middle part of the district. Further east, Vrhovec street also heads north; part of it lies in neighbouring Jelenovac.

Two park-forests lie along these streets. The Šestinski dol park-forest is in the lower part of the area, while the Vrhovec park-forest, most of which falls within this council area, adjoins the Šestinski dol park-forest to the south, Zamorski breg to the north and Jelenovac to the east. Down in the lower part, on Nad lipom street, is the Nad lipom primary school.

Buses to Šestinski dol and Vrhovec start from the Kuniščak stop right by Ilica: one runs up Šestinski dol street, the other via Mandaličina ulica and Vrhovec street. Trams stop on Ilica at Mandaličina. The top of Šestinski dol street is more than two kilometres from Ilica, and the Kuniščak buses run all the way up.
