Questions

Which neighbourhoods are quickest to Ban Jelačić Square?
Of the neighbourhoods with enough flats to rent, these are quickest to the main square: Upper Town (7 min, median rent €2,000); Lower Town (8 min, median rent €1,300); Ribnjak (10 min, median rent €2,600); Kvatrić (12 min, median rent €2,500); Medveščak (14 min, median rent €1,750). These are median door-to-door trips on a weekday morning.
How is the travel time calculated?
For each neighbourhood we start at its centre, walk to the nearest stops, ride ZET trams and buses with changes, and walk to the destination, leaving every 10 minutes from 7:00 to 8:50. We show the median, so waiting is included.
Can I type an exact address?
Yes. The search knows every house number in Zagreb from the official address register, every ZET stop, and the faculties, hospitals and stations. You can also tap the map and set the destination anywhere.
Will listings show the trip to my destination?
Yes. The destination you pick here is kept in your browser, so flat cards and listing pages show the trip to it. On the list of flats you can also sort by the shortest trip.

How we work it out

Minutes are the median door-to-door trip on a weekday (27 Oct 2026), leaving every 10 minutes between 07:00–08:50, from ZET's timetable valid 21 Oct 2026 to 31 Dec 2026. Walking to and from stops, waiting and changes are included.

Trips start from each neighbourhood's centre, so they're approximate for the whole area. The borders on the map are approximate too: neighbourhoods aren't official units.

Flat counts and median rents come from the listings live on our site; a median shows only once a neighbourhood has at least 5 flats.
